Ihre Arbeiten lassen uns die Sprache der Kleidung in dieser afrikanischen Kultur zwischen Tradition und Moderne verstehen: Das Zusammenspiel von Stoffen und Farben, von Formen und Strukturen der Alltagsumgebung wird in atmosphärischen Bildern verdeutlicht. Direkt und subjektiv vermittelt Elisabeth Meier Einsichten in die Komplexität und Schönheit der Kleidung im südöstlichen Afrika.
