Besonderheiten: Der Paul John Brilliance ist ein ungetorfter Single Malt Whisky aus Indien, der in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern reift und dabei die tropischen Aromen Goas aufnimmt. Er wird nicht kühlgefiltert und enthält Farbstoff.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Süsse Noten von Nougat, Pudding, Orangenblütenhonig und Vanille, begleitet von einem Hauch von Zimt und feinen Gewürznoten.
  • Gaumen: Sanft und dennoch frisch mit Aromen von süssem Nougat, Honig, Gewürzen und einer leichten Kräuternote.
  • Abgang: Mittellang und weich, mit milden Gewürzen und intensiver Vanille.

Destillerie/Abfüller: John Distilleries Pvt. Ltd. wurde 1992 von Paul P. John in Goa, Indien, gegründet. Die Brennerei produziert Whisky nach schottischem Vorbild und verwendet dabei indische 6-reihige Gerste aus den Ausläufern des Himalayas. Die Reifung erfolgt in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern, wobei das tropische Klima Goas den Reifungsprozess beschleunigt und den Whiskys eine besondere Tiefe verleiht.
