Die Grundprinzipien der fotografischen Arbeit von Andreas Feininger, 1906 als ältester Sohn des Malers Lyonel Feininger in Paris geboren, sind Klarheit, Einfachheit und Organisation. Am Bauhaus in Weimar zu Beginn der zwanziger Jahre zum Kunsttischler ausgebildet, studierte er anschließend an den staatlichen Bauschulen in Weimar und Zerbst Architektur. Zunächst Architekturfotograf in Stockholm, emigrierte er mit Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkrieges nach New York. Als Bildredakteur beim Life-Magazin angestellt, hielt er immer wieder Straßenschluchten, Wolkenkratzer, Brücken und Hochbahnen in atmosphärisch dichten, mittlerweile zu Klassikern gewordenen Aufnahmen fest. Mit derselben Begeisterung widmete er sich auch Naturstudien. Seine Detailaufnahmen von Insekten, Blumen, Muscheln, Holz und Steinen verleihen deren Formen einen skulpturalen Charakter. Die Monografie gibt mit einer Vielzahl hervorragender Duplexbilder einen Überblick über das grandiose Werk des 1999 verstorbenen Fotografen. Dog ignores, but I like

I bought this for my dog, who is old and has creaky joints. My dog prefers to continue resting in uncomfortable places that put my plants in peril. He does not ever recline on this dead sheep and looks at me as though I am the sheep slaughterer.
Spouse asked if it came in bigger sizes. Since this is the skin of a dead sheep, it depends on live sheep girth. Anything bigger would likely have to be sewn together from multiple dead sheep.
I find the girth of this sheep pelt perfectly acceptable. It is nice and thick and soft and fairly easy to vacuum. I frequently recline on it when stretched out on the floor, and am grateful it does not leave a mess or make noise like my dog, who should be grateful that his pelt is still attached to his body.

SHRINK Wrapped. NO Customer Support.

These arrived shrink wrapped and when put down as throw rugs, are lumpy. They are a little less so after 10 minutes on air fluff in the dryer.
They look nice and fit my bedroom well but I’m concerned about walking over them since I prefer a level surface that is even.
Customer support does NOT exist. There appears to be a chat option but there are no responses.
Reading other information, I’ve decided to try a metal comb. So now I’m waiting for that to arrive.
If it wasn’t so difficult to deal with the size difference, I would have simply returned them. I may still and just purchase a return container.

100 % genuine sheepskin.

Just received today. Beautiful sheepskin rug. 100 percent natural long fibers. As the listing states..."it has the wrong labei". That must be why the "experts" complained. Out of several rugs i own, this one is the nicest. Slight smell but airing it out will take care of that.

Overall good quality

I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of this rug. No bad smell coming off it. I like the leather backing on it. Wasn't as soft/fluffy straight out the bag but a quick brush fixed that issue for me. So far even with the brushing there is minimal shedding. Bought as a gift for my husband but my son enjoys it.
