Beschreibung: Die Euphorbia lactea cv. White Ghost, auch bekannt als "Dragon Bone", ist eine faszinierende und seltene Sukkulente. Ihre außergewöhnliche Wuchsform und die auffällige weiße Färbung machen sie zu einem echten Hingucker und einer Bereicherung für jede Pflanzensammlung.

 

Aussehen:
 Die Euphorbia lactea cv. White Ghost zeichnet sich durch ihre kammartige, gefächerte Wuchsform aus. Die weißen bis cremefarbenen Seitentriebe haben gelegentlich grüne Streifen. Diese Pflanze ist nahezu dornenlos, was ihr eine elegante Erscheinung verleiht. Die seitlichen Triebe besitzen das Erscheinungsbild von Knochen, durch den Haupttrieb ähnelt es dem Gerippe eines Drachens. 

 

Standort:

Diese Euphorbia bevorzugt einen hellen Standort mit viel indirektem Licht. Ein Platz an einem Ost- oder Westfenster ist ideal. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung sollte vermieden werden, um Sonnenbrand zu verhindern.

Pflege:
Die Pflege der Euphorbia lactea cv. White Ghost ist einfach. Gießen Sie die Pflanze mäßig und lassen Sie das Substrat zwischen den Wassergaben vollständig austrocknen. Überwässerung sollte vermieden werden, da sie zu Wurzelfäule führen kann. Im Winter kann das Gießen nahezu eingestellt werden.

 

Substrat:
 Verwenden Sie eine gut durchlässige Kakteenerde oder eine Mischung aus Sand, Kies und normaler Blumenerde, um eine optimale Drainage zu gewährleisten. Eine Drainageschicht im Topf sorgt für zusätzliche Sicherheit vor Staunässe. Derzeit steht die Pflanze in einem Substrat ausgelegt für sehr warmes Klima im volljährig beheizten Gewächshaus. Somit empfiehlt es sich das Substrat ggf. anzupassen oder besonders vorsichtig zu gießen.

 

Winterhärte:
 Die Euphorbia lactea cv. White Ghost ist nicht winterhart und sollte bei Temperaturen über 10°C gehalten werden. Im Winter bevorzugt sie einen kühlen, aber hellen Standort, um ihre Ruhephase optimal zu durchlaufen.
