Sie haben Vierkantantrieb und ein Teilgewinde / Grobgewinde und sind selbstschneidend. Pocket Holes sind abgestufte Bohrlöcher, die in einem sehr flachen Winkel zur Holzoberfläche gebohrt werden. Die dort eingedrehte Schraube verschwindet komplett im Holz.
