Das Audi C8 RS6 Ansaugsystem ist das Ergebnis umfangreicher Entwicklung, Tests und Prototyping.
Unser Ziel war es, 2 Hauptkriterien zu erfüllen: 1) Erhöhte Durchflussrate. 2) Gleichmäßiger Luftstrom.
Das erste Ziel wurde erreicht, indem der begrenzte Platz im Motorraum des RS6 ausgenutzt wurde,
der durch die Unterseite der Motorhaube stark eingeschränkt war. Unsere Lösung bestand in einer
kompletten Neugestaltung der gesamten Airbox, die das Volumen maximierte, die Eintrittsöffnungen
für den Luftstrom vergrößerte und einen günstigeren Filterwinkel zu den Turbos schuf. Außerdem
vergrößerten wir die Turboeinlässe dramatisch um bis zu 85%, wenn man die Querschnittsfläche an
den Öffnungen misst. Das zweite Ziel wurde erreicht, indem ein organisch geformtes System mit einem
speziell abgerundeten Plattenfilter entworfen wurde, um sicherzustellen, dass der Luftstrompfad keine
scharfen Ecken enthält und somit die Strömung laminar bleibt. Durch die sanften Übergänge vom Filter
zu den Turboeinlässen minimiert unser Ansaugsystem die Bildung von Turbulenzen, wodurch die Turbos
effizienter arbeiten können. In Zusammenarbeit mit BMC haben wir ein maßgeschneidertes Filterelement
entwickelt, um sicherzustellen, dass die Filterfläche so groß wie möglich ist und gleichzeitig der Luftstrom
sauber bleibt.
