Der Akku-Schlagbohrschrauber ist dank seiner sehr robusten Bauweise und dem starken, bürstenlosen Motor mit optimal abgestimmtem 3-Gang-Vollmetallgetriebe ideal für alle Einsatzgebiete, auch im "Heavy Duty"-Bereich.  Die von DeWalt eingesetzte Sicherheitselektronik (Entladungsschutz, permanente Überprüfung der Akkutemperatur sowie Stromentnahme) ermöglicht einen problemlosen Langzeiteinsatz des Schraubers. Der Schlagbohrschrauber ist zusätzlich mit einer LED-Leuchte ausgestattet, welche das Arbeiten mit dem Werkstück durch bestmögliche Beleuchtung erheblich erleichtert.
