Dagli ingegneri di Zipp arriva il 302 Carbon Clincher. Con un cerchio in carbonio realizzato a Indianapolis da 45 mm di profondità, ottimizzato per una bassa resistenza aerodinamica e una manovrabilità precisa in tutte le condizioni di guida.

Per mantenere le ruote leggere e di facile manutenzione, è utilizzato un'interfaccia di montaggio del rotore del freno con bloccaggio centrale sui nostri mozzi 76D/176D. Il set di mozzi 76D/176D è inoltre dotato di cappucci terminali dell'asse sostituibili per la compatibilità con l'asse passante. 

Il cerchio in carbonio 302 è assemblato a mano sui nuovi mozzi Zipp 76D/176D utilizzando raggi belgi CX-Sprint e nippli in ottone per costruire una ruota che sia veloce e affidabile, abbastanza resistente da sopravvivere ai classici di primavera o alle strade meno percorse, ma abbastanza leggero per affrontare le pendenze più ripide.

I cerchi 302, come tutti i cerchi in carbonio, sono realizzati a Indianapolis. Fin dalla nascita di Zipp nel 1988, ha scelto di realizzare qui i cerchi in carbonio per un motivo: la precisione. Con il controllo completo del processo di produzione dall'inizio alla fine, costruiscono ruote che stabiliscono lo standard di settore in termini di precisione.

Worked like a charm.

Used it as directed. Down to an eighth of a tank. Poured it in and added enough gas to get back to one half a tank. Wanted to get it mixed in really well. Immediately jumped on the interstate and ran 75 MPH for 40 miles. Stopped and filled the tank and when I restarted the engine, the light was off. Coincidence? Not a chance. Light had been on continuously for weeks. AutoZone said I needed a catalytic converter. Nope. One thing I found out the hard way. If your gas filler has a flap at the top, make sure it is easy to push aside. Mine had a little release button near the top that the filler hose would depress before the flap would release. Dumped the first bottle right on the ground. Twelve bucks wasted. No one to blame but me, I guess. Still a bargain, even at twice the price.
