Der LC3 – heute offiziell «3 Fauteuil Grand Confort» – wurde 1928 von Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret und Charlotte Perriand entworfen. Das revolutionäre Konzept kehrt die traditionelle Polstermöbel-Konstruktion um: Der tragende Stahlrohrrahmen liegt aussen, die Kissen ruhen lose darin.
