Standort: Das Verbreitungsgebiet von Anthurium arisaemoides erstreckt sich von 300 bis 2.000 m in den Lebenszonen tropischer Feuchtwälder und tropischer Feuchtwälder. An der Typlokalität in der Cordillera de Cutucu wächst A. arisaemoides terrestrisch in dichten Beständen im Unterholz des Waldes und ähnelt in ihrem allgemeinen Aussehen auffallend Arisaema. Die Art wächst häufig in kleinen Gruppen auf dem Boden oder manchmal an der Basis von Bäumen im Moos.
