* Fried Rosenstock (geboren 1943 in Kassel, verstorben 2024 in Berlin) hatte an den Kunstakademien von München, Frankfurt und Venedig studiert und trat in den 1960er Jahren erstmals im Kunstbetrieb mit dreidimensionaler Malerei und Objektkunst in Erscheinung, ab den 1970er Jahren dann auch mit Performances. Seit 1974 veröffentlichte Rosenstock mehrere Künstlerbücher. Viele seiner Konzepte sind der Richtung der Spurensicherung zuzuordnen. Manches in seinen Installationen kommuniziert auch eine gehörige Portion Ironie.
