Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für die Yamaha Tracer 900 und Tracer GT der Baujahre 2018 bis 2020 konzipiert. Dieses Zubehörteil dient der sicheren und stabilen Befestigung eines Tankrucksacks an der genannten Motorradmodellreihe.

Im Lieferumfang des Produkts sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der je nach spezifischer Tankform und Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack montiert wird. Die Montage des Tankrings beeinträchtigt nicht die Zugänglichkeit oder die Funktion des Tankdeckels, welcher auch bei angebrachtem Ring problemlos geöffnet werden kann.

Die Installation des Tankrings erfordert keine weiteren Anpassungen oder spezielle Werkzeuge und zusammen mit einem entsprechenden Tankrucksack von HEPCO & BECKER ist die Ausrüstung komplett.

Der Basic Tankring funktioniert ausschließlich mit dem mechanischen Verriegelungssystem, im Gegensatz zu den Lock-it Tankringen, die zusätzlich mit Magneten zur Zentrierung ausgestattet sind. Obwohl beide Systeme denselben grundlegenden Metallring verwenden, sind die aufgesetzten Komponenten unterschiedlich und nicht kompatibel mit Gegenhaltern des jeweils anderen Systems.

My main gripe is that the mounting on the back is not the typical X X insets that others have, which allow sliding the screws into any direction, so it can be mounted any direction, and instead are just - - so it can only slide a single direction, which I find much more limited when we mounted these under our kids' desks.
