Herkunft
Kelims (auch Kilim, Qilim) wurden traditionell nur für den Eigengebrauch hergestellt. Nomaden und Bauern benutzten und benutzen ihre Kelims flach gewebten Kelims als Teppiche auf dem Boden, aber auch als Zelt- oder Wandbehänge, Decken, Kissen oder Taschen. Mit unseren neuen Kelims haben wir die traditionelle iranische Webtechnik weiterentwickelt, um deutlich festere und dickere Kelims herstellen zu können. Diese neue Generation der Kelims nennen wir Kelim Hoch2.Für unsere Kelim Hoch2 wickeln wir mit Naturfarben gefärbte Schurwolle um dicke Stränge grob gesponnener Schurwolle und stellen so feste Bahnen mit einer außergewöhnlichen Textur her. Diese Bahnen mit verschiedenen Farben und Mustern nähen wir dann mit groben Stichen zusammen, um die gewünschte Breite zu erreichen. Das Ergebnis sind zeitgemäße, sehr strapazierfähige Kelims mit schlichten Mustern und harmonischen Farbtönen.
Material
Der Flor dieses Kelim Hoch2s wurde aus hochwertiger Schurwolle handgeknüpft. Schurwolle wird durch das schonende Scheren von Schafen gewonnen.

Comfortable and light!

Wanted something that was going to be lightweight but had those longer sleeves because I do still get a tad chilly even on the warmer days. This is perfect, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, the loose cut around the waist adds to the top's "breathability," but it still keeps you cozy and warm on those chilly mornings! The brown is a lovely warm-coffee tone and it hasn't faded a bit in the wash. Very nice shirt to add to your collection!
