Dieser handgeknüpfte Keshan Teppich (auch Kashan) aus hochwertiger Schurwolle zeigt ein ausdrucksstarkes Medaillon mit fein gezeichneten Ornamenten. Keshan liegt an der alten Seidenstraße zwischen Isfahan und Teheran – hier werden seit Jahrhunderten einige der klassischsten aller Perserteppiche geknüpft. Aus Keshan, einer der ältesten Teppichstädte Persiens an der Seidenstraße – der Ardebil-Teppich im Victoria & Albert Museum soll hier im 16. Jahrhundert entstanden sein. Der Flor ist robust verarbeitet und bietet angenehmes Laufgefühl. Handgesponnene Schurwolle sorgt für einen Flor mit natürlichem Glanz und spürbarer Materialqualität.
