Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für das Modell Triumph Sprint ST 1050 konzipiert, welches in den Baujahren 2005 bis 2010 produziert wurde. Dieses Produkt ermöglicht eine sichere und einfache Befestigung von Tankrucksäcken der Marke HEPCO & BECKER.

Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter, der entsprechend der spezifischen Tankform und des Lenkereinschlags am Tankrucksack montiert wird. Der Tankdeckel bleibt auch mit montiertem Tankring voll zugänglich, was die Handhabung vereinfacht.

Die Installation des Tankrings erfordert keine weiteren Komponenten, außer einem kompatiblen Tankrucksack für das genannte Motorradmodell.

Der Basic Tankring unterscheidet sich vom Lock-it Tankring durch die Art der Verriegelung. Während der Lock-it Tankring zusätzlich mit Magneten zur Zentrierung arbeitet, erfolgt die Verriegelung beim Basic Tankring rein mechanisch. Beide Systeme verwenden denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.

Zu beachten ist, dass Tankrucksackgegenhalter und Tankring kompatibel sein müssen und nicht zwischen den Systemen (Lock-it und Basic) ausgetauscht werden können.
