Rheingau I Rüdesheim I Jungwinzer

Alexander Schregel startete mit seinem ersten eigenen Jahrgang 2021 durch und die Weine waren schneller ausverkauft als uns lieb war. Erfahrung hat er bereits in führender Position beim renommierten VDP Betrieb - Weingut Leitz gesammelt.

Aus Spitzenlagen in Rüdesheim (Berg Roseneck, Bischofsberg) und nun auch Locher Toplagen, bringt er nun mit 2023 seinen dritten Jahrgang in den Verkauf. Dabei geht er im klassischen Rheingau "neue Wege", beziehungsweise Back to the Roots. Die Weine werden spontanvergoren und bekommen mehr Zeit sich zu entwickeln, auf Schönungsmittel wird komplett verzichtet, geschwefelt wird nur minimal. In der Weinbergsarbeit werden biodynamische Ansätze genutzt. Ein unheimlich spannendes Unterfangen, mit bereits in den ersten beiden Jahrgängen unheimlich tollen, lebendigen Weinen. Back to the Roots!

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by these shirts and wear them weekly for Zoom calls, since I’m still working from home these days. The difference between polyester vs recycled polyester is inconsequential. I typically buy expensive golf shirts, and these definitely aren’t as nice. They are a fraction of the cost though and a great “beater” work shirt / hang out shirt. It’s nice wearing something that looks and feels decent, but if something happens to it, you can toss and it and pick up another for the cost of a chipotle burrito.
