Besonders Tomaten sind sehr krankheitsanfällig, wenn das Blattwerk nass ist. Mit dieser Abdeckhaube bleiben die Pflanzen trocken. Zum Gießen und Ernten kann die Folie an der Vorderseite mit zwei Reißverschlüssen geöffnet und zusammengerollt an der Oberseite des Rankgerüsts befestigt werden. Wenn die Folie nicht benötigt wird, lässt sie sich schnell abziehen und platzsparend verstauen.
