Als Neo Rauch an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig bei Arno Rink studierte, war Deutschland noch ein geteiltes Land. Nach dem Mauerfall eroberte er mit seinen großformatigen, rätselhaften Bildern die internationale Kunstwelt im Sturm und wurde zum Wegbereiter und berühmtesten Repräsentanten der »Neuen Leipziger Schule«, in der die figurative Malerei mit Elementen der Pop-Art, von Comics und Werbegrafik erweitert wurde. Der Katalog Neo Rauch Dromos Malerei 1993–2017 bietet eine Übersicht über Neo Rauchs vielschichtiges Werk. Er beginnt mit seiner ersten Einzelausstellung 1993 in der renommierten Galerie Eigen + Art in Leipzig und vollzieht anhand von Gemälden aus bedeutenden internationalen Sammlungen detailliert die Entwicklungen seines Œuvres bis in die Gegenwart nach. Comfortable and light!

Wanted something that was going to be lightweight but had those longer sleeves because I do still get a tad chilly even on the warmer days. This is perfect, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, the loose cut around the waist adds to the top's "breathability," but it still keeps you cozy and warm on those chilly mornings! The brown is a lovely warm-coffee tone and it hasn't faded a bit in the wash. Very nice shirt to add to your collection!
