  • Aus Seidenpapier und schwer entflammbarem Papier (für den unteren Bereich) wird ein Heißluftballon von ca. 190 cm Höhe, 140 cm Durchmesser bzw. 440 cm Umfang zusammengeklebt. 
  • Ein Experiment mit heißer Luft: heiße Luft ist leichter als die Umgebungsluft, deshalb steigt sie nach oben. Wenn sie nun von einer leichten Hülle (wie bei unserem Papierballon) umgeben wird, trägt sie diese mit. 
  • Erst wenn die Luft langsam abkühlt, schwebt die Hülle wieder nach unten. 
  • Die Aluschale wird nur zum Einfüllen und Anzünden von Spiritus benötigt und fliegt aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht mit. 
  • Dies hat den erfreulichen Nebeneffekt, dass der mühsam gebaute Heißluftballon nach ca. 5 Minuten wieder zum Boden schwebt und mehrmals benützt werden kann. 
  • Inhalt: Seidenpapier, schwer entflammbares Seidenpapier, Holzstäbchen, Gummischlauch, Klebstoff, Schnittmuster und Anleitung.
