Der getuftete Velours besteht in seiner Nutzschicht aus 100 % Polyamid, was für seine extrem weiche Haptik bekannt ist. Auch neigen die Schnittenden der Dochte dazu, nahezu liebevoll mit dem Raumlicht zu spielen. Dieser dezente Glanz-Effekt changiert immer wieder aufs Neue, nach jedem Darüberstreichen.
