Das Buch präsentiert Grundlagenwissen unterschiedlicher Disziplinen, das für die Arbeit mit psychisch erkrankten Eltern und ihren Kindern unentbehrlich ist. Dargestellt werden die Belastungen, aber auch die vielfältigen Entlastungsmöglichkeiten für die Kinder psychisch erkrankter Eltern. Dafür wurden anerkannte Wissenschaftler*innen und Praxisvertreter*innen als Mitschreibende gewonnen, die schon seit vielen Jahren zum Thema lehren, forschen, arbeiten und Fortbildungen geben. Sie stellen aktuelle wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse sowie praxisnahe Methoden und Konzepte vor. So lernen Studierende der Sozialen Arbeit und Mitarbeitende der Jugendhilfe und Erwachsenenpsychiatrie eine fachliche Herangehensweise kennen, die ganz auf die Stärkung der Kinder, Eltern, Familien und Fachkräfte ausgerichtet ist.

Good stuff

This is a great rescue cream. No fragrance. Non-greasy. Lightweight. Application is easy. Helps with rashes, dryness, and redness, and feels great. The product itself gets 10 stars. The Amazon price, on the other hand, is not the best. I found it at a local store $2 cheaper. And still, for the size the price is high.

This balm has been amazing for dry and irritated skin. I started using it on rough patches around my nose and cheeks, and it helped calm everything down quickly. The texture is thick but it absorbs better than I expected. A little goes a long way, so the tube lasts quite a while. I also like that it does not have a strong fragrance that irritates sensitive skin. It works well under makeup and overnight as a treatment. I will definitely keep repurchasing this because it has become a staple in my skincare routine.

I’m 52 with post-menopausal, mature dry skin, and this is not something I use casually or every day — it’s what I reach for when my skin barrier is compromised and needs real help. When my skin is irritated, over-exfoliated, reacting to actives, or feeling tight and inflamed, I don’t want glow or anti-aging claims. I want calm, protection, and repair. This balm delivers exactly that.
The texture is rich and occlusive, but not greasy or suffocating. It melts into the skin and immediately takes the edge off irritation — that tight, uncomfortable feeling just stops. Within minutes, redness looks calmer, dryness is softened, and my skin feels protected rather than coated. With so many skincare products making big promises, this one quietly does its job — and does it extremely well. If you have mature, dry, or reactive skin and need something reliable for barrier repair, this earns its place. It’s not exciting, it’s not trendy — it’s just very, very effective.
