Der Deps New Slide Swimmer 115 ist die neue, verbesserte Version des legendären Slide Swimmer in 11,5 cm. Verglichen mit dem Vorgänger haben sich 2 Aspekte geändert. Zum einen besteht der Körper nun aus sehr robusten ABS Kunststoff. Die zweite Änderung ist das Spring Weight Micro Vibe System. Dieses ist ein Federgewicht im Kopf des Baits, welches bei Aktion leichte Klopfgeräusche von sich gibt und in den Pausen vibriert. Gleich geblieben ist die Silikonhaut für eine sehr natürliche Optik und die Kick-Back Aktion im Lauf.

Sehr natürliches Laufverhalten

Der Deps New Slide Swimmer 115 ist ein zweiteiliger Swimbait, der schon konstant eingekurbelt einen sehr natürlichen, s-förmigen Lauf hat. Diesen kann man zusätzlich mit leichten Schlägen über die Rute oder durch ruckweise Schnur einholen variieren. Er bricht dann verstärkt seitlich aus und triggert mit dieser Unregelmäßigkeit oft Raubfische noch zur Attacke. Dieses Modell ist der kleinste aus der New Slide Swimmer Serie und neben Hechten auch ein toller Köder für Zander und große Barsche. Da er recht leicht ist und wenig Wasserwiderstand bietet, lässt er sich auch sehr gut an einer Spinnrute mit Stationärrolle fischen.

First off, the FMC and the pack don't meet until about 60% of the way through. That's just way too late honestly. I can appreciate the backstory of the band and the FMC, but I skimmed at times wondering when they'd meet. I did like the writing and premise but I thought the execution needed a lot of work. The characters were pretty well developed, but they didn't spend that much time on the page together, so I thought that led to the story suffering. I will give her another shot, as I think the writing has promise... It just didn't come all together in a way that I could wholeheartedly recommend.

This is my first book from this author, and while I do really love omegaverse stories, this one left a lot to be desired. This book is a hard-core slow, slow, slow burn: (75% or later in the book) I will say that I finished it. Unfortunately, I struggled through a lot of it due to punctuation errors, and general editing that must have been looked over during the revision process. I also feel like a lot of information was left out and there wasn’t closure regarding her parents. The dynamic of the pack before Lydia joined is a little confusing, the only person who showed affection towards Elias was the Head alpha. The other two seemed indifferent to him in an intimate relationship way. That doesn’t really scream cohesive pack to me. I am hopeful that the next book in the series is better edited, and that the author decides not to use the same phrases over and over again. I’m pretty sure “honey-warm” was mentioned over 15 times when describing Elias’s scent. That got really old, really fast. Overall, it was a decent book. Not sure I would read it again or recommend it until of these errors are remedied.
