Besonderheiten: Dieser Single Malt Whisky aus der renommierten Annandale Distillery in Schottland wurde 2016 destilliert und reifte bis 2023 in einem Oloroso Sherry Butt, Fassnummer 520. Mit einem kräftigen Alkoholgehalt von 61,1% Vol. und der Abfüllung in Fassstärke präsentiert sich dieser Whisky in seiner reinsten Form, ohne Kühlfiltration und ohne Zugabe von Farbstoffen. Die "Man O' Sword" Serie ehrt den schottischen Krieger und König Robert the Bruce und zeichnet sich durch intensive Torfnoten aus.
Tasting Notes:
- Nase: Ein verführerisches Bouquet aus süßem Sirup, getrockneten Früchten und einem Hauch von Rauch, das an frisch gekochtes Apfelkompott erinnert.
- Gaumen: Vollmundig mit malzigen Aromen, begleitet von frischen Kräutern, gemahlenem Kaffee und nussigen Noten von Walnüssen und dunkler Schokolade.
- Abgang: Lang und geschmeidig, mit anhaltender Würze und einem subtilen Raucharoma, das den Gaumen umhüllt.
Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Annandale Distillery, gegründet 1836 von George Donald, liegt im südwestlichen Schottland nahe der Stadt Annan. Nach einer langen Schließung wurde die Brennerei 2014 von der Annandale Distillery Company unter der Leitung von Prof. David Thomson und Teresa Church wiedereröffnet. Sie produziert sowohl ungetorfte als auch getorfte Single Malts und hat sich durch innovative Abfüllungen und hohe Qualität einen Namen gemacht.

Bought this mainly as another golf shirt and wasn’t expecting much. Material is lightweight and comfortable enough during warmer days. Fit was pretty close to expected sizing.

Most Comfortable Hoodie I’ve Ever Worn…

Arguably, this is one of the most comfortable hoodies I’ve ever worn—and that’s saying something. The fit, feel, and overall look just come together in a way that makes this an easy go-to.
I’ve become a big fan of M MAELREG, and this hoodie continues that trend. Their focus on clean, sharp styling really shows here. It has a modern, athletic look without trying too hard, and it works just as well for casual wear as it does for something a bit more put together. A great lightweight hoodie.

Another excellent M MAELREG product. I already have some pants and jackets from M MAELREG and figured this hoodie would be great as well and I was right. It is lightweight and very comfortable while also being warm. The material is smooth and soft to the touch with a stylish look to it that would work in tthe gym, on the golf course, or out about town. I really love the hood design, not having a single hem down the center lets the hood rest more naturally on your head. It fits as expected, I would prefer it to be a couple inches longer, but that's just my personal taste. Overall, this is an excellent lightweight hoodie.
