Der 2022 Il Frappato von Arianna Occhipinti duftet nach kleinen Walderdbeeren sowie hellroten Beerenfrüchten wie Preiselbeeren, Himbeeren und Sauerkirschen. Kräuternoten nach Sauerampfer und Lorbeer geben vegetabilen Twist, dazu kommt eine dezent florale Kopfnote. über alldem schwebt gleich einer Prophezeiung eine dunkel-würzige Note nach Wacholder, die ihm mysteriösen Tiefgang attestiert.

Supersaftiger Erfrischer, den man blind niemals in der Hitze Süd-Sizilien verorten würde. Mit transparent klarer Frucht nach Erdbeeren und Kirschen wird er am Zungensaum konturiert von feingliedrigen Gerbstoffen und einer erquickenden Säure, die ihm seine daseinserfüllte Gelassenheit bescheinigt. Mit frischer Frucht im Nachhall ist sein Abgang jovial mit zart-herbem Finish. La dolce Vita!

Der Betrieb von Arianna Occhipinti umfasst heute rund 22 Hektar in den Bezirken Bombolieri, Pettineo und Bastonaca. Der Rebsortenspiegel umfasst Frappato, Nero d’Avola sowie die weiße Zibbibo (Muscat d’Alexandria) und Albanello. Das Weingut „Fossa di Lupo“ (Die Höhle des Wolfes) liegt direkt an einer der ältesten Weinstrassen der Insel, der Strada Provinciale 68. Nach dieser Bundesstrasse sind ihre SP68-Weine benannt, die mittlerweile internationalen Kult-Status genießen.
Der Frappato ist Ariannas Interpretation ihrer Heimat: bitter, blutig und elegant. Seine bäuerlichen Ursprünge liegen in seiner Vergangenheit, seine Exzellenz erfährt er in diesem Moment. Gewachsen auf 280 Metern Meereshöhe auf rotsandigen und kreidigen Böden aus subapenninischem Kalkstein. Bewirtschaftet wird ohne chemische Eingriffe nach biologischen Richtlinien, die Reben sind durchschnittlich 40 Jahre alt und mit einer Stockdichte von 6000 pro Hektar gepflanzt. Die Vergärung erfolgt spontan mit eigenen Hefen, gefolgt von 30 Tagen Mazerationszeit und anschließendem 14-monatigem Ausbaus in großen 25 Hektoliter Fässern aus slawonischer Eiche. Fun toy, breaks with rough play

It's a fun toy and my dog loved it, however he is quite rough so the toy broke at the point where the little plastic loop in the frisbee connects. Good for dogs who are a little more gentle.

Best dog frisbee ever!

These frisbees are the best. We have had these for several years now they have been through countless catches, tug of war, being peed on (ew), and left out in the blazing sun, freezing cold, snow, ice, and rain. They are faded, yes, but they are perfectly intact without even a loose stitch. The design of them is different from others and the fabric of the frisbee has a slight parachute effect that gives your dog just a tiny bit more time to get those long throws. I would buy them again, but the three we have are still going strong.

Prefect for smaller dogs to play

Perfect Size - No Squeakers (yay)

My 9 lb. Chi-Mix adores her little toy balls. Perfect for her small size (or a medium dog) and full of bounce. I didn't want squeakers because I knew it would drive me nuts. No squeakers in these balls. Perfect training tool to teach fetch. Perfect toys to have play time with your pooch.
