Das Chiisai Gyuto ist ein kompaktes und vielseitiges Messer, das eine Brücke zwischen der Wendigkeit des Petit Gyuto und der Vielseitigkeit eines grösseren Gyuto schlägt.

Mit seiner 160mm langen Klinge und einem Gewicht von nur 87g ist es aussergewöhnlich für das tägliche Schneiden von mittelgrossen Gemüsesorten und Obst sowie für das Zerlegen von kleineren Fleisch- und Fischstücken.

Es eignet sich hervorragend als das primäre Messer für Küchenchefs und Kochbegeisterte, die ein leichtes, aber leistungsfähiges Werkzeug für eine breite Palette von Schneidaufgaben suchen.

Verwendung:

  • Die Klinge aus SK85-Stahl kann rosten, da das Material aus Kohlenstoffstahl besteht. Achte darauf, nach Gebrauch den Schmutz vom ganzen Messer mit Wasser abzuwischen und mit einem Tuch gründlich abzutrocknen.
  • Du kannst danach die Klinge mit einem Pflegeöl einreiben, um die Klinge zu pflegen und lange Spass daran zu haben.
  • Das Messer hat eine sehr scharfe Schneide. Bitte verwende ein Schneidebrett aus Naturholz wie beispielsweise Bambus, Kirsche oder Eiche.

Pflegehinweise:

  • Mit der Zeit kann die Schärfe eines solchen Messers nachlassen, wenn es häufig verwendet wird. Wir empfehlen, die Klinge mithilfe eines geeigneten Schleifsteins wiederherzustellen.

Unsere Messer sind härter als normale Messer:

  • Verwende die japanischen Messer nie zum Hacken oder Schaben. Durch die extreme Härte können die Messer brechen.
  • Für das Schneiden von Gefriergut ist es unerlässlich, ein spezielles Küchenmesser für Gefriergut zu verwenden, und nicht unsere Messer.

Vorsicht ist geboten:

  • Die Messer haben eine sehr scharfe Klinge. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr, beim Berühren der Klinge mit den Fingern.
  • Nicht ins Feuer halten (erhitzen). Die Härte der Messerklinge wird dadurch beeinträchtigt und unbrauchbar.
  • Nicht in der Spülmaschine waschen. Das Messer kann dadurch beschädigt werden.
  • Bitte bewahre das Messer ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
  • Der Griff besteht aus Naturholz. Vermeide längere Einweichzeiten in Wasser, um eine Aufweichung des Griffs zu verhindern.
  • Bevor du das Messer benutzt, überprüfe den Griff auf Festigkeit. Wenn irgendetwas locker sitzt, verwende es bitte nicht.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
