Der Sherpa Mini ist ein auf Gewichtsoptimierung entwickelter, über ein Getriebe angesteuerter Direktextruder von Annex Engineering. Häufig wird dieser Extruder für Umbauten oder Eigenbau-3D-Drucker verwendet. Der Bausatz beinhaltet, neben den Kugellager und den Getriebezahnrädern mit geschliffenen Zähnen für eine optimale Filamentmitnahme, alle Komponenten für den kompletten Aufbau. Das Gehäuse ist aus PA12 per SLS-Druckverfahren gefertigt, hitzebeständig bis 120°C und äußerst stabil und zäh. Der hochwertige Schrittmotor von LDO gewährleistet einen Betrieb bei bis zu 180°C.

Die Gewindeeinsätze aus Messing werden ganz einfach mit Hilfe eines Lötkolbens in die PA12 Kunststoffteile eingeschmolzen.
