Die BMW Art Journey steht Künstlern offen, die im Sektor »Discoveries« der Art Basel in Hong Kong ausstellen. In Verbindung mit dem Start der Initiative erschien 2015 die Publikation von The Sense of Movement: When Artists Travel (Hatje Cantz), mit ausgewählten Arbeiten reisender Künstler der letzten Jahre. Sie eröffnete eine Reihe von Publikationen zur Dokumentation der Reisen und Projekte der Teilnehmer der BMW Art Journey.Die Art Journey von Max Hooper Schneider (*1982, Los Angeles) ist ein Forschungsprojekt zur Erkundung von Korallenriffen rund um den Globus. Auf seiner Reise untersucht er die Korallensysteme, angefangen vom Bikini-Atoll über das von Fukushima betroffene Riff in Japan und dem Baikalsee in Russland bis hin zur Küste Madagaskars, um daraus eine vielschichtige Erzählung zu entwickeln.

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.
