In Lords of Vegas tauchen die Spieler in die glitzernde, aber knallharte Welt der Casinobarone ein. Das Ziel ist es, auf dem berühmten „Strip“ von Las Vegas Grundstücke zu erwerben, gigantische Casinos zu bauen und die Konkurrenz durch geschickte Übernahmen und ein wenig Würfelglück in den Schatten zu stellen.

Das Spielprinzip: Bauen, Zocken, Herrschen

Das Spiel verbindet strategisches Gebietsmanagement mit dem Nervenkitzel eines echten Casinos. Jede Runde werden neue Grundstücke auf dem Spielplan verfügbar, auf denen die Spieler ihre Glücksspiel-Imperien errichten können.

  • Der Casino-Bau: Spieler bauen Casinos in verschiedenen Farben. Je größer ein zusammenhängender Komplex einer Farbe ist, desto mehr Geld und Punkte bringt er ein.

  • Die Boss-Frage: Nur wer den höchsten Würfelwert in einem Casinokomplex hat, gilt als der „Boss“ und streicht die Siegpunkte ein – alle anderen Mitbesitzer erhalten lediglich Geld.

  • Aktionen & Risiken: Man kann Casinos umbauen, die Farben ändern oder versuchen, die Führung eines Konkurrenten durch ein „Reorganisieren“ (erneutes Würfeln aller Würfel im Casino) zu übernehmen.

This is not a religious book at all, but a book for anyone who is spiritually-oriented and maybe especially for those who aren't, because the author writes about prayer in a way that every single person can relate to. This is a book about being real and true and simple and clear and about living a worthwhile life. Don't miss this book. Highly recommended. *****

Easy assembly with the supplied Allen wrench and bolt, and it comes with a cover for the bolt hole which perfectly matches the base padding material so the assembly point becomes invisible. The base is heavy and the assembled item seems very sturdy. I found it weird that this towel holder came with a plastic box containing a fork and a spoon as a ‘gift’ but this will go in my car camping cookware bag. I don’t know how the brass finish will hold up over time but for now I’m very pleased.
