The vineyard's unique location yields a wine with more character and concentration than many other examples in the region (where it is the second most planted variety). A complex nose of hay and green apple leads to a lithe, taut palate with mountain herbs, white almonds, sour freshness and a savoury-stony finish. Wild, deep and unctuous yet remarkably balanced.
