Material & Eigenschaften – Cortenstahl

Cortenstahl ist eine Metalllegierung auf Eisenbasis mit Kupfer, Phosphor, Silizium, Nickel und Chrom. Das Material ist stark, verschleißfest und langlebig.

  • Wird ungerostet geliefert
  • Rostprozess dauert ca. 4–5 Monate (abhängig vom Wetter)
  • Bei Witterungseinfluss bildet sich eine schützende Rostschicht, die weitere Korrosion verhindert
  • Verleiht dem Pflanzkübel seine warme, orangebraune Optik
  • Während des Prozesses kann vorübergehend Rostwasser entstehen
  • Rost kann mit Owatrol fixiert werden (optional erhältlich)

Wichtige Hinweise

  • Produkt nach Erhalt sofort auspacken, um Feuchtigkeitsstau und unregelmäßige Rostbildung zu vermeiden
  • Für einde gute Drainage sorgen
  • Keine Dichtfolie verwenden - Wasser muss frei abfließen können
  • Wir empfehlen, Cortenstahlprodukte nicht näher als 2 km zur Küste zu verwenden.

  • Füllen Sie den Kübel mit einer ca. 10 cm hohen Schicht aus grobem Kies (ø 35 mm)

  • Mit geeigneter Erde auffüllen, passend zur gewählten Bepflanzung
