Montonale Orestilla Lugana ist der „große Bruder“ des Lugana Montunal und verdankt seine reiche und komplexe Ausdruckskraft den besonderen Eigenschaften der gleichnamigen Lage mit exzellenter Südlage. 

Orestilla präsentiert sich im Glas mit einer feinen strohgelben Farbe mit goldenen Reflexen. Das finessenreiche Bouquet präsentiert fruchtige Aromen von süßen Zitrusfrüchten, Ananas, Stachelbeeren und gelbem Pfirsich, balanciert von mineralischen Noten und aromatischen Kräutern, die ihm seine exzellente Eleganz verleihen. Am Gaumen ist der Orestilla saftig mit einer lebendigen, erfrischenden Säure. Die Ananas- und Kräutern-Aromen wiederholen sich am Gaumen. Er ist sehr harmonisch, unglaublich fein, gleichzeitig spannend und belebend, mit einem tiefen, mineralischen Finale. Ein fesselnder Lugana mit einer wirklich einlandenden Trinkbarkeit (eine Eigenschaft, die auch in allen anderen Weinen von Montonale zu finden ist). Ein Wein, den man immer im Keller haben sollte.

Der Lugana Orestilla stammt von den Trauben eines kleinen Weinbergs (2 ha), der so genannt wurde, weil im 17. Jahrhundert einen schönen Marmorsarkophag der römischen Frau Orestilla gefunden wurde. Dank der einzigartigen Bodenzusammensetzung dieses einzelnen Weinbergs entsteht ein reicher, sehr feiner, Lugana mit langer Lebensdauer. Ein Lugana der Superlative, der in 2017 von Decanter als der beste Weißwein der Welt gekürt wurde.

Die Trauben werden vor dem Pressen selektiert und gekühlt, um die aromatischen Eigenschaften so gut wie möglich zu erhalten. Danach erfolgt eine sanfte Pressung unter Ausschluss von Sauerstoff, um die Oxidation der edlen Bestandteile der Trauben zu vermeiden; nur die Blütenmostfraktion wird ausgewählt, die unter sehr sanftem Druck gewonnen wird. Der Most wird durch natürliches Dekantieren geklärt und gärt etwa 10 Tage lang bei 6° in temperaturkontrollierten Edelstahltanks.

Der Wein reift etwa 8 Monate auf der edlen Hefe unter ständigem Aufrühren der feinen Hefe und wird dann mindestens 10 Monate in der Flasche verfeinert.

There's probably not a lot you can say about power strips because they all just do what they're supposed to do. However I needed something that would give me more power Outlets in the small bathroom sink counter space than I had. I tried several of the ones that I had but they either turned out too bulky, thick cords or just too intrusive for what I needed. That's when I came across this little gem. It comes with six Outlets, three USB inserts, and a smaller less thick power cord, and the end has a 30 degree flat angle so that it lays flat against the wall when plugged in instead of sticking straight out like most cords. Most importantly to me was it fit snuggly behind the sink faucet and tightly against the wall. All and all it made the entire application look as built in as possible. I know this seems as if a lot to say about a simple power strip but I've seem other bathroom counter sink tops cluttered with all sorts of electrical devices vying for their own plug in space and I don't need to tell you what that looks like. This is just a simple little power strip that was able to turn a messy looking counter top into a lot less intrusive looking mess.

The power strip itself is mostly normal. Not too thin, not too bulky, but it's the plug that makes this extra special. It's the thinnest we've found so far, which is excellent for hiding behind furniture that blocks outlets, while this strip still makes power easily accessible. Though I will say I do appreciate the USB A and C ports for charging and find them quite handy for quick charging devices. It is a lot more useful than I originally thought. My main gripe is that the mounting on the back is not the typical X X insets that others have, which allow sliding the screws into any direction, so it can be mounted any direction, and instead are just - - so it can only slide a single direction, which I find much more limited when we mounted these under our kids' desks.
