The witty Lucellino Wall lamp was designed by Ingo Maurer himself in 1992. Lucellino Wall is the small wall version of the Birds Birds Birds chandelier, at the same time the counterpart to the Lucellinotable lamp, and is especially suited for walls that could do with an extravagant accent. It is not suited, though, for rooms with high humidity.
The name of the lamp can be traced back to a wordplay: "Luce" is Italian for "Light" and "Ucellino" means "Birdie". With a halogen low-volt bulb, extra produced by Ingo Maurer, and handmade wings of goose-feathers Lucellino becomes an extraordinary design lamp. The singular wire can be turned, bent and shaped whichever way you like.
