Multi-instrumentalist and synth wizard Paul White readies his third album for R&S Records, offering up a cinematic journey on ‘Peace In Chaos’ that captures the current mood with its shadowy electronic prowess.
With an unabashed love of 80s synth music and film scores, the South London based producer presents an album of perhaps his most pop leaning tracks yet, following on from 2018’s ‘Rejuvenate’ and 2014’s ‘Shaker Notes’. Across eleven tracks, White delves into a world of esoteric electronic pop, as waves of melodic synths wash over towering drum patterns and majestic bass, with White adding his own enigmatic vocals to many of the productions.
Paul explains the themes he was looking to capture when producing ‘Peace In Chaos’; “I’ve always heard music in a very visual way. I’d like to put this album out there as film, or game scenes, and it’s a movie or game about trying to find peace in a chaotic world”.
Having previously written & produced for many artists, including Danny Brown, Sudan Archives and Jessy Lanza, White puts himself centre stage on ‘Peace In Chaos’, writing, performing, producing and recording entirely on his own, flexing his prodigious studio skills and keen ear for a powerful and engaging tune. None more exemplified than on this new album.

Feels cheap
Style: Social Worker
The material feels a little too flimsy for my liking. When I picked it up, I noticed right away that it’s more on the budget side not the durable canvas or sturdy fabric you hope for in a daily-use tote. I wouldn’t trust it with anything heavier than maybe a few magazines or a change of clothes. Grocery runs? Forget it. The handles and the body don’t inspire confidence and I found myself double-checking the seams every time I loaded it up.
The look is actually pretty cute, so points for style. I can see it working as a light errand bag or something you toss in your car for emergencies. If you just need something casual for occasional use, like carrying snacks to a picnic or using it for light shopping, you’ll probably be fine.
But for anything that requires a bit more muscle, like regular grocery hauls or heavier books, this tote just isn’t up to the job

Delivered in mailbox folded up.
Style: Difference Maker Definition
The tote is beautiful! The only complaint I have is that it was delivered folded up in my mailbox. I’m going to try & use an iron on low heat to straighten it out. It is made out of a cheaper fabric.

Super cute… but not what the listing is

First of all, this listing is entirely inaccurate, as other reviews say, the picture is of a larger bag when in reality you are sent something much smaller and without the small wallet.
I wanted the smaller bag, so I ordered it intentionally, but if you are looking for the larger size, do not order this.
I included a side by side comparison of the two bags. The lighter bag is the size this listing is supposed to be (that I owned previously) and the smaller one is the one I was sent.
That being said the smaller bag is super cute and so similar to the Brooklyn bag! Just be aware that it does not match the listing :)
