  • HISTORY ASPECTS:
  • The Saab JAS 39E Gripen E-variant pre-production test aircraft represented a critical step in the modernization of Sweden’s next-generation multirole fighter program. Developed by Saab AB, the Gripen E introduced a significantly redesigned airframe with increased internal fuel capacity, a more powerful General Electric F414 engine, advanced sensor fusion, and an active electronically scanned array radar. By 2022, pre-production aircraft were undergoing extensive ground and flight testing to validate avionics integration, electronic warfare capabilities, and new mission systems designed to ensure survivability in highly contested environments.
  • Testing activities conducted alongside the Swedish Air Force focused on operational evaluation rather than combat deployment. These pre-production aircraft participated in weapons integration trials, datalink testing, and simulated air defense scenarios reflecting Sweden’s renewed emphasis on territorial defense in the Baltic region. Exercises evaluated interoperability with ground-based air defenses and other NATO-aligned assets, even though Sweden was not yet a formal NATO member at the time. The aircraft’s advanced electronic attack suite and networked targeting capabilities demonstrated the Gripen E’s role as both a fighter and a force multiplier within distributed operations.
  • In terms of combat history, the pre-production Gripen E aircraft were not used in active conflicts, as their mission centered on developmental testing and capability validation. Nevertheless, the program was heavily influenced by lessons learned from modern conflicts involving advanced air defenses, electronic warfare, and long-range precision weapons. Swedish defense planners emphasized rapid dispersal operations, survivability under electronic attack, and the ability to counter modern threats in the Baltic theater. The testing phase ensured that production Gripen E aircraft would be fully prepared for potential future conflicts while maintaining Sweden’s longstanding doctrine of credible deterrence and defensive readiness.
  • This 1:72 scale model captures the cutting-edge look of Sweden’s next-generation fighter during its crucial evaluation phase, making it an excellent addition for collectors who appreciate prototype aircraft, advanced technology demonstrators, and the evolution of modern European air power.

Great Value! Great Printer
THE ONLY reason I can't give it a five is because it is the only printer I have ever seen with two trays that you have to print one or the other. Aside from that, BEST Scanner App EVER! Easy!! Hardly ever jams and then only when I put too many in, rushing to finish. The quality is fantastic!

Hands down, the WORST printer I have ever owned. In THIRTY years.
I love Epson print quality so when my Epson finally bit the dust I HAD TO have another Epson. After lots of research I bought this one. It takes FOREVER to wake up and print. It shouldn’t take 5 minutes to wake up. I am a VERY light user. At the time of this initial review I'd maybe printed 500 pages total, so it's not like this thing has been put through the ringer or anything. This thing CONSTANTLY jams. Or says it’s jammed. It may or may not be. But you’ll have to go through the motions every time you want to use it anyhow. It burns through ink faster than a cracked out toddler dumping paint all over the floors and walls. WHEN ONE COLOR RUNS OUT YOU CAN NO LONGER PRINT B&W I’m sure there are more reasons why I hate this printer, I’ll try to come back to add them if I think of them. THIS PRINTER HAS INSPIRED ME TO DISASSEMBLE MY OLD EPSON AND BECOME A PRINTER REPAIR TECH IN MY FREE TIME IN HOPES OF GETTING THAT ONE TO WORK. I don’t recommend that route either. I think Epson has lost me forever. All I want is a printer with their great print quality, two paper trays that accept different sizes, and a rear loader for heavier paper, that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. My old WorkForce did all of that beautifully and for whatever reasons they decided that shouldn’t be an option anymore. RUDE. UPDATE: This pile of junk will ALSO say that it is out of paper when in fact it is not. I hate it, so so so much.
