From John Gould's "Birds of Great Britain"

John Gould FRS (14 September 1804 – 3 February 1881) was an English ornithologist who published monographs on birds, illustrated by plates produced by his wife, Elizabeth Gould, and several other artists, including Edward Lear, Henry Constantine Richter, Joseph Wolf and William Matthew Hart.

Print Details: Pl. 315 features the Goosander (Mergus merganser) in full color and meticulous detail, printed on heavy, museum-quality paper.

Historical Context: John Gould's The Birds of Great Britain is celebrated as one of the finest illustrated natural history works of the Victorian era, spanning five volumes and 367 plates.

The Bird Species: The Goosander is a large, diving fish-eating duck (part of the sawbill family). Males have a striking, bottle-green head and clean cream-white bodies, while females possess gingery-brown crests.

Comfortable and light!
Color: Brown, Size: Large
Wanted something that was going to be lightweight but had those longer sleeves because I do still get a tad chilly even on the warmer days. This is perfect, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, the loose cut around the waist adds to the top's "breathability," but it still keeps you cozy and warm on those chilly mornings! The brown is a lovely warm-coffee tone and it hasn't faded a bit in the wash. Very nice shirt to add to your collection!

looks nice, well made and styish.
This was a gift for a friend. It is well made, has a good modern style to it, comfortable to wear, she is taller, and it fits her well. Its a bit warm, so a fall kind of clothing option.

Great for layering or wearing on its own!
I’m 5’6” and ordered the small — it fits perfectly! The color is exactly as shown in the pictures, a beautiful beige that goes with everything. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, making it great for layering or wearing on its own. I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!
