Gorgeous vintage coat by Dirk Bikkembergs, from Fall/Winter 1997, shown here documented on the runway, worn by Helena Christensen. A slightly puffed black satin dream with a darted bust and a slit vent at the backside. The most amazing pointed, standing collar that snaps into place at the neck. Coolest quilted, off-set v-shaped asymmetric belt with brand-embossed gunmetal silver belt buckle. Zip up front side, leaving a partial opening at the thigh, with silver zipper and long matchstick style puller. Slit pockets at front hips. Fully lined. This coat has never been worn, with original Henri Bendel tag still attached, retailing at $950 back in it's day.

Condition: Excellent condition, this coat is deadstock with original tag still attached and has never been previously used or worn. The belt does have signs of wear/age from storage - there is a scratch to the satin at the backside of the belt and the interior side of the belt has some leatherette cracking and loss at the edges (not visible when used/worn).
