Adventures in Volcanoland : What Volcanoes Tell Us About the World and OurselvesAdventures in Volcanoland charts journeys across deserts, through jungles and up ice caps, to some of the world's most important volcanoes, from Nicaragua to Hawaii, Santorini to Ethiopia, exploring Tamsin Mather's obsession with these momentous geological formations, the cultural and religious roles they have played in the minds of those living around them at different times throughout history, and the science behind their formation and eruptions.

Adventures in Volcanoland charts journeys across deserts, through jungles and up ice caps, to some of the world's most important volcanoes, from Nicaragua to Hawaii, Santorini to Ethiopia, exploring Tamsin Mather's obsession with these momentous geological formations, the cultural and religious roles they have played in the minds of those living around them at different times throughout history, and the science behind their formation and eruptions. Volcanoes help to make and shape our world, bursting forth from inside of the earth and, in many places, looming over us. Present since the earth's beginning they continue to maintain its life support systems and, their extraordinary chemistry may even have created the ingredients needed for life to kick start. In some places volcanoes are even beginning to provide us with part of the energy we need to curb our use of fossil fuels. They have fascinated humans for millennia, their eruptions charted throughout history, seeming to show us how the earth has been living, breathing and changing for billions of years. Why exactly are these geological mammoths found where they are? What can they teach us about our environment, the Anthropocene and the ecological disaster that is climate change? Are there volcanoes on other planets, and what might they tell us about whether we could one day live there if we exhaust our own habitat? How can we predict if or when volcanoes might explode?Adventures in Volcanoland is an enthralling mix of travel, science and environmental writing for fans of Robert MacFarlane and Raynor Winn.

I would recommend.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 2.19 Pound (Pack of 1)
I was given a bag of these as a gift, and I decided to rebuy because my puppy loved them so much. But after eating two out of this big bag she doesn't like them anymore. But my pup can be very picky. An adult dog can wipe one of these out really quickly, so it might be something you want to watch if your dog is a vigorous chewer. But I never saw a piece come off that was big enough for my dog to choke on. My sister's dog loves them, so I think my puppy is just spoiled and super picky.

"Busy" is right.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 2.19 Pound (Pack of 1)
These are plenty big, so your dog will have a good ol' time with it. Probably won't do much else till it's gone. Not sure "chew" is an accurate description, it's more of a gnawing and slobbering kind of process. Drool seems to soften them up. Don't give them one on the bed or couch. They are hard, resilient, and rather dense, but not crunchy; they don't break up like a biscuit would. And the center is sort of like a very stiff taffy. But it took me way more licks than a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop, I can tell you. Our little dogs tackled one that I cut in half, and they did pretty well. But they really are too big for small dogs.

My god loves his new chew bone 😍
My dog loves this chew bone, he chewed on it daily since I gave it to him. It's good value for money, pretty hard, lasted about a month & a half. Good size bone for a medium sized dog

Best thing for boredom
My dog loves the Benebone especially when he is bored. He loves the chicken one the best. When the edges start to splinter or get rough, we get him a new one.
