The HS515CM is a micro red dot optic equipped with a 65 MOA circle dot reticle with the option of switching to a 2MOA dot only. Employing new LED technology, the lifetime for one CR2032 battery can reach 5 years on the 2 MOA dot. Holosun’s “Shake Awake” technology automatically turns the optic on at the slightest movement. When the optic senses no movement, it will go to sleep. This product includes clear flip-up lens covers, a quick-release mount, and a kill flash filter. Our highly efficient light-emitting diodes and Solar Fail-safe technology allow the 515CT optics to run without a battery in many lighting conditions.

Glowy but not sure about the spf

My first impression was that this works more like a basic body shimmer than anything else. The Glistening Bronze shade gives a noticeable glow, especially on arms and shoulders. It spreads easily and adds a warm shimmer in the light, but the overall effect feels pretty simple and more cosmetic than skincare focused. In use, the oil blends in smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin. It does leave a bit of moisture behind, similar to a light body oil, and the shimmer shows up well outdoors. The bronze tone is fairly deep, so it seems better suited for medium to darker skin tones or anyone who wants a stronger bronzed glow. The product mentions SPF 45, but there is very little information about the sun protection side of it, so I personally treat this more like a shimmer oil than a sunscreen. Overall, this is fine if you are mainly looking for a body shimmer that adds glow and a bronzed look. It does the job of giving skin a subtle shine and a bit of hydration, but it does not stand out as anything particularly special. I would recommend it mostly for people who want a simple shimmering body oil rather than relying on it for sun protection.

This Oil Definitely Glitters!

I really wanted to love this shimmer oil, but it's unfortunately not my favorite. I love that it has SPF! That is a big win for me! The oil is also very good at hydrating my skin, which I appreciate. My problem comes with the shimmer of the product. The glitter in it is too big for my liking. With it being called a shimmer oil, I expected tiny glitter that softly shimmers like shimmer powders, lotions, and oils usually do. But this stuff glit-ters! And because it's bigger sized glitter, it's a lot easier to see when it gets all over everything like clothes, furniture, spouses and children. If the shimmering glitter in this was just smaller and softer, I would love this for summer time to use on my legs and arms. But it's unfortunately just not my favorite and I don't think I'll be using it anymore.
