Die Nikola Tesla Folding Knife Kollektion würdigt das Lebenswerk eines der bedeutendsten Erfinder der Moderne. Jede Farbvariante ist auf 86 Exemplare limitiert, entsprechend Teslas Lebensjahren.

Die Scales bestehen aus massivem Sterling Silber und greifen zentrale Elemente seiner Forschung auf. Teslas Signatur erscheint in hohem Relief, ergänzt durch ein rotierendes Magnetfeld und das Symbol für Wechselstrom. Der Tesla Coil ist im Hintergrund in flachem Relief eingraviert. Elektrische Entladungen treten klar hervor und stehen im Kontrast zur subtil dargestellten Röntgenaufnahme von Teslas Hand. Sein fast vollständig weißer Lieblingsvogel ist in weißer Emaille umgesetzt.

Die Guilloché Gravur bildet die Grundlage für den Emailleauftrag. Die Emaille entsteht aus von Hand angeriebener Glas und Metalloxidpaste, die Schicht für Schicht aufgetragen und bei über 1.000 Grad eingebrannt wird. Mehrfache Schleif und Brennzyklen sorgen dafür, dass die gravierten Strukturen vollständig ausgefüllt werden und die glasartige Oberfläche sauber hervortritt.

Diese Technik verlangt Erfahrung, Geduld und Präzision. Jede Komponente wird mehrfach überarbeitet, bis Struktur, Farbe und Metall exakt miteinander harmonieren.

Die Klinge wird aus schwedischem Damasteel DS93X gefertigt. In beide Seiten des silbernen Thumb Stud ist ein Diamant eingesetzt.
