The World's Smallest PLB

Wherever you are, at sea, on land, the Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 provides the reassurance that global emergency services can be alerted by the press of a button. The Ocean Signal rescueMe PLB1 can be operated with a single hand in even the most challenging situations. A simple spring-loaded flap covers the activation button preventing inadvertent use. Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 works with the only officially recognised worldwide dedicated search and rescue satellite network (operated by Cospas Sarsat). As this is funded by governments there are NO CHARGES to use this service.

When activated the rescueME PLB1 transmits your position and your ID to a Rescue Coordination Center via satellite link. Rescue services nearest to you are promptly notified of your emergency and regularly advised of your current location to assist prompt rescue. The Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 is a compact and robust safety device designed to provide peace of mind for individuals engaging in outdoor activities. The rescueME PLB1 beacon is known for its small size, being 30% smaller by volume compared to others, making it highly portable and easy to attach to a lifejacket or belt.

The PLB1 is equipped with a 66 channel GPS receiver, providing fast and accurate positioning to search and rescue services in case of an emergency. With a 7-year battery life and a 24+ hour operational life once activated, it is designed for longevity and reliability. Additionally, it features a high-intensity strobe light for increased visibility and a retractable antenna for ease of use. The Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 is an essential safety tool for anyone venturing into remote or challenging environments, offering a lifeline that can be activated with the press of a button.

To register your Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1, you need to contact your national registration authority. This can typically be done via post, email, or online. You will be required to provide your 15-digit HEX ID (UIN), which is a unique identifier for your beacon. Along with these details, you should include your contact information and details of an emergency contact. Depending on your country, additional information such as boat type and identification or alternative emergency contacts might be required. Once you have all the necessary information, you can proceed with the registration process, which will add your device to the International Beacon Registration Database (IBRD), ensuring that in the event of an emergency, the distress signal transmitted by your PLB1 will be linked to your details for a swift search and rescue operation.

Battery replacements are also available through us here at All Sat Communications. The battery of the Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 beacon is not user replaceable and must be sent to an authorised service dealer for replacement such as ourselves, more information can be found here.

Remember, having a Ocean Signal PLB1 during outdoor adventures can be a lifesaver, offering peace of mind with the assurance that help is just a button press away. Whether at sea or on land, the PLB1 is a critical piece of safety equipment for any adventurer.

Amazing stuff!!
Love love love this stuff! You do have to spread it out well to not go right through it but it doesn’t take more than a thin layer to protect you all day!!

amazing product, a little too pricey
it worked amazing while we were trying to swim in the ocean and snorkel in the ocean. The only downfall I have of this is the price is so much for such a little amount.

My go to brand
My go to brand. Other brands I have to reapply constantly and still have sunburn. I love this brand and the stick is even better for applying sunscreen. Very reliable without any mess!

Not fur Surfing or other Water Sports
I got this in a swag bag from a surfing contest. The stick is very dry...that's the only way I can explain how it feels. It certainly doesn't glide on like other face sticks. After one wave and ducking my face in the water, the product smeared off and ran into my eyes. My vision got blurry from that, and it was really hard to see the waves coming in. I won't be using this product ever again. I also looked at the EWG website, and this product was given a 6. For those new to EWG, that's not a good rating. You want like a 1 or 2.
