This 18V random orbit sander has a well-balanced, ergonomic hand rest that allows the hand to be close to the workpiece so there is no sideways tilting and downward pressure for perfect results. The easily accessible on/off switch ensures intuitive operation. A vibration damper reduces fatigue and tingling in the hands. With its powerful 18V brushless motor, the Bosch GEX18V-5 5 In. Brushless Random Orbit Sander delivers material removal performance comparable to that of a corded model. The speed selector guarantees very good results in a wide variety of materials and applications. The sander has an 8-hole, 5-inch sanding pad for good dust pick-up when using a dust bag or vacuum. The sanding pad is ideal for both flat surfaces and for concave or convex surfaces. The sander is equipped with a suction connection to use the supplied dust bag for mobile use or to connect a vacuum cleaner. Its compact shape with hand rest close to the workpiece guarantees perfect control in hard-to-reach places. It also benefits from a soft start, the Constant Speed ??function guaranteeing an always constant speed and a self-gripping support plate.
