The Twin Disc HD Street Kit is a robust clutch system designed for high-performance applications. Weighing 48.3 lbs. and with a torque capacity of 891 ft/lbs., this kit offers exceptional durability and performance, providing a 53% increase in torque capacity over stock. Crafted with organic disc material and featuring a clutch disc diameter of 10.5 inches (267 millimeters), it ensures reliable operation under demanding driving conditions.

The T1S-F06 street twin disc kit doubles the number of disc surfaces compared to single-disc kits, resulting in improved wear resistance, heat dissipation, and extended longevity. Utilizing a proprietary Positive Lift Floater System design, this kit operates quietly without any rattling, ensuring a smooth driving experience. Additionally, all diaphragms undergo an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process for enhanced durability.

Premium organic materials with high copper content ensure efficient heat transfer, while steel-backed linings provide superior burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for added strength and durability. Rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength.

The kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel for trouble-free installation and operation. Components such as the pressure plate, two discs, floater, flywheel, and alignment tool are included, with some kits optionally containing a pilot bearing and release bearing.

Worked for Volvo Penta SX Gimbal Bearing
Very heavy tool, I was surprised. Pulled my bearing like it was nothing. Putting the new bearing in was a little more difficult as you have to drill a hole in the engine alignment shaft where it will work for your particular outdrive. Not hard, but it does not come pre-drilled as the required depth for each particular gimbal bearing differs by manufacturer and model. Measure your bearing placement before removal and check that it was installed correctly in the first place. The bearing should line up with the grease fitting and the o-rings on the drive shaft should end up riding in the middle of the bearing. once you have your measurement drill the hole, I used a drill press. I suppose you could use it on multiple outdrive models as long as you can drill more holes.

This kit worked perfectly on my Alpha one mercury outdrive. I saw a lot of people mention that it was a hassle to drill the hole when you better have all this alignment stuff. I threw it in use my regular drill drill guide and then the second hole was lined up. Pulling Gimble be very easy. I did have to adjust it up at an angle because my bearing was sitting in their crooked and it came out the second time I made the adjustment to the angle. I would highly recommend this.
