"Dreams of India & China is the first retrospective LP of artist and sailor, Rip Hayman. Recorded from 1975-1986, the two side-long works were collaged from a dozen hours of tape recordings (which had lain dormant for over 30 years). It ebbs as the tides; pulsing from one location to the next in a faint stupor, Dreams turns to be an autobiographical sound map. Audio capsules of Hayman's installation performances, private experiments, and every ethnographic voyage in between are charted. Outdoor recordings canopy over indoor recordings, thatching surreality. Tonal quilts lap over "Dreamwaves" on the first side: an all-night sleep concert hosted by Rip as the sandman. Whispers of recounted dreams, birds and trees, organ waves. The second side traverses more saturated memories: bicycle spokes ripping against half-speed piano, bleeding cymbal dances over saxophone gusts, the tumbling of Rip's body affixed with bells and metal. Hayman was a collaborator in New Wilderness Foundation, Ear Magazine, and The Land (a parcel in upstate New York to where John Cage, John Lennon, David Tudor, and more would escape the city in the 1970s). He is the owner of the oldest bar in NYC, The Ear Inn. Focusing on nautical inventions and intentions these days, Rip has veered away from composition; hopefully that will change. For now, let us enjoy the sea-faring sound journeys of his past. Great Charcoal Soap – I Really Like It!

I’m honestly surprised how much I like this charcoal soap. The packaging was clean and professional, and all four bars came in perfect condition. Each bar is a good size, and it feels like it will last a long time.
The scent is fresh and not overpowering, and the soap gives a nice deep-clean feeling without drying out my skin. I like that it has ingredients like peppermint, sea salt, and shea butter — it actually feels refreshing after a shower.
The mesh bag they include is also really useful for getting more lather and keeping the soap from melting too fast.
Overall, this is a solid charcoal soap set. Good quality, good fragrance, and worth the price. I’m happy with it and will definitely keep using it!

Good soap with a few details
Scent: Lemon, Scent: Lemon
I've been using this soap for several weeks now, and it's worked well for cleaning without drying out my skin. The foam is abundant and has a natural aroma, not strong at all. I like that it includes ingredients like turmeric and shea butter because my skin feels softer.
The only thing I noticed is that from the pigment, it can leave a slight yellow mark on sponges or cloths if they are not rinsed thoroughly, and the size of the stick is smaller than it looks in the photo.
Overall, it is a good natural choice for those looking for a different and gentle soap for daily use.

Scent: Citrus
Long lasting but don’t take anything off the skin it’s great for moisturizing but not for washing anything away like deodorant it can’t handle the task, smells great during wash but not long lasting after.

Felt commercial vs natural
Scent: Tea Tree
I got the tea tree soap and the first thing I noticed was it has a strong perfume smell that I don’t believe to be natural because I’ve had other kinds of tea tree soap bars and I prefer the other bars over these because I could actually smell the tea tree sent with the other bars and it was a nice mild scent in comparison to these that have a strong perfume scent. This soap didn’t bother my skin but it was not as effective as my other tea tree soap purchases I made prior to trying these. It came with a soap sack to help build up a soap lather but it was so cheaply made it felt apart after the second use. This soap appeared commercial in my opinion and it was made in china and I didn’t notice this prior to making my purchase. I would have avoided making this purchase knowing what I know now including my personal experience using this product.

Gentle but Effective Cleaner

This tea tree oil soap does an excellent job of cleaning without being harsh on the skin. It removes dirt and oil effectively, yet my skin never feels dry or tight after use. The lather is rich and smooth, and the light tea tree scent feels fresh and refreshing. Thanks to the shea butter, my skin feels soft and moisturized, making it great for daily use on face, body, and hands. A solid choice if you want a natural soap that’s both gentle and effective.
