Tech-Air® 5 is a slim, self-contained wearable airbag vest that can be worn under any proper fitting textile jacket or Tech-Air® compatible jacket, or any leather jacket with 4 cm of space around the circumference of the rider’s chest. Key Features:
- The state-of-the-art, wearable Tech-Air® 5 vest comes with an active electronic system that features six integrated sensors (3 gyroscopes and 3 accelerometers) and a crash algorithm that leverages AI to accurately monitor when to deploy the airbag in the event of a crash. Developed from years of research with over 50% of the world’s top MotoGP riders, and Alpinestars customers, riding data from millions of kilometers and thousands of crashes have been analyzed to continuously improve the intelligent crash detection algorithm. Upon the identification of a crash situation, a protective airbag is deployed, providing unrivaled protection to the rider with a maximum inflation time of 20 to 40ms based on the volume of the airbag size. The impact absorption while wearing the airbag results in a decrease of the impact force by up to 95% compared to a passive protector. The Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System offers the same protection as that provided by 18 back protectors(2).
- The system is also extremely easy to use, just zip up the vest and close the magnetic flap and you’re ready to ride. An LED display indicates the airbag’s operational status and the integrated, certified lithium ion battery has a battery life of 30 hours of riding time. The system comes equipped with a magnetic micro USB charger that allows quick, easy and convenient recharging.
- Tech-Air® 5 has Bluetooth connectivity and an accompanying Tech-Air® App, which uses the rider’s phone to display the system’s operational status, battery status and a detailed analysis of a ride; the system’s firmware can also be updated directly via the app.
- Nearly 20 years ago, Alpinestars began development on the original Tech-Air® System. When launched in the market in 2014, the Tech-Air® system was recognized as the world’s first airbag providing full upper body protection with a completely independent electronic management system, in addition to having the versatility of the vest which could be easily zipped into a variety of Tech-Air® compatible jackets. I wanted to love these soooo bad cause they’re super serum-y , feel great on the skin and I can tell actually difference after wearing. BUTTTT they leave a residue and it’s a nightmare if you do it before makeup.

These toner pads have genuinely made my skin look smoother, brighter, and more refreshed. They’re super easy to use and feel really gentle while still giving noticeable results. My skin feels cleaner and softer after using them, and I’ve especially noticed improvement in texture and overall glow.
I also love that the pads are really saturated without dripping everywhere, and they don’t irritate my skin. They’ve become such an easy part of my routine, especially on days when I want my skin to look extra fresh and glowy. Definitely one of the better skincare purchases I’ve made lately.

Great product, great price!

These toner pads have been amazing for my skin! They leave my face feeling incredibly smooth, refreshed, and clean, and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in texture and overall glow. I especially love using them while removing my makeup because they make my skin feel extra fresh and clean afterward. I do notice they leave a slight semi-dry/tight feeling on my skin at first, but once I rinse and apply moisturizer, my skin feels absolutely amazing — soft, balanced, and hydrated. The pads are well soaked, easy to use, and make my skincare routine feel so much more effective. I’ll definitely continue using them! I also feel they work just as great and are not as over priced as so many others out there.

They really do work!

I rarely give reviews that aren’t motivated by disappointment, but this is one of them. Medicube makes several products that I use alongside $170 serums and creams, and the Zero Pore Pad is one of them. I love the dual texture, and even after using a pre-cleanser and a “microfolient” face wash (both expensive washes from by Dermologica), the Zero Pore Pad is my ONLY choice for a toner. Compared to the products that go on after using the pads, the pads are incredibly affordable for the results I’ve seen. On the rougher side of the pad, this toner still somehow finds pockets of sebum that are visible on the pad after using as directed. It’s like magic.
I’m on my third container of Zero Pore Pads and I can say, without a doubt, they have had noticeable results on my skin, mostly on my nose and the cheek area around my nose. The size of my pores are now smaller, almost invisible. This is despite the fact that I layer a bunch of serums, creams and a moisturizer at night that I lock in with the peel-off Medicube collagen mask. Despite the weight of it all on my pores, the pads still have worked, and they aren’t harsh like some toners-but if you have very sensitive skin or are on acne medication, go with their milder sister product). I wash my face three times a day due to the ick of polluted air and layers of moisturizer and sunscreen, so I’ve been using these three times a day, but occasionally I use the Koji and Tumeric Pads, which have had no noticeable effect aside from serving as a basic toner.
The application is lovely on all Medicube’s pads with their dual texture, but like the collagen mask these Zero Pore Pads really do work (for me). Because skin varies with age and melanin content, I am a pale white woman (female at birth) of Scandinavian descent so I don’t know if these would have had the same impact on me at age 17, but now they work, really well. I literally have the glass skin K-beauty prizes—I just used the pads and thought I had something on my face because my skin was shining. I love these, try them!
