64-BIT ANDROID OPERATING SYSTEM
The AX12 combines RadioMaster's proven radio control system with RadioMasterOS, an Android-based platform that simplifies setup, configuration, and field operation—without compromising reliable control. RadioMasterOS is RadioMaster's first Android-powered operating system, built specifically for radio control. It provides an intuitive model setup and adds touchscreen access to compatible Android apps for configuration, telemetry, and mission planning. This is not Android layered on top of a radio—it is a dedicated radio control system enhanced by an open Android foundation.
MALI-G72 MULTI-CORE GPU, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB STORAGE
An octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage deliver smooth performance for control tasks, telemetry viewing, supported ground station apps, and utilities. The 5.5-inch HD IPS touchscreen (1280 × 720) delivers sharp visuals and 1000 nits brightness for excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. The responsive touchscreen interface makes navigating menus and adjusting settings quick and intuitive in the field.
FULL-FEATURED RADIOMASTER TRANSMITTER
At its core, the AX12 remains a full- featured RadioMaster transmitter. It supports full 16-channel ExpressLRS control with advanced mixing, arbitrary channel mapping, custom curves (including 12-point custom curves), adjustable dual rates, and channel locking. Preset and user- defined model templates, full model import/export, custom model images, configurable voice prompts, and support for Tools Lua scripts provide deep flexibility for advanced setups.
ExpressLRS SUPPORT
The built- in ExpressLRS LR 1121 module supports 2. 2.4GHz or Sub-G 900MHz operation with low latency and strong link performance, and supports Wi-Fi OTA firmware updates for the internal RF module. MAVLink passthrough enables compatible apps, such as QGroundControl and Betaflight Configurator, to be used directly on the radio for supported workflows.
HDMI INPUT & OUTPUT
HDMI input supports video from compatible digital video systems on the AX 12 display, while HDMI output mirrors the screen to an external monitor or projector for teaching, review, or team use. Using the DJI Fly app and a simple USB-C OTG connection, the AX12 can display the live video feed from DJI goggles directly on its built-in HD screen. This enables passengers, spotters, or instructors to view the flight in real time while the pilot continues flying with goggles. The mirrored display can also serve as a handy backup screen for safety or for recording or live-streaming the flight feed.
