This book focuses on the Trans-Generational emotional impact that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (also known as PTSD and as defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders, 4th Edition had on my life and the offspring for which I was neither cognizant of nor was I willing to admit at the time. There were some caveats that came along with the trial that I endured; specifically, learning the true meaning of friendship. (I met my friend Sugar at a time when the tribulations in my life seemed unbearable.) She offered the refuge of spirituality about which I knew nothing and was resistant to at first. Sugar turned out to be a Godsend and later became my best friend and confidante. Using her deep wisdom, she was able to teach me the correlation between the spiritual and the physical and showed me the residual effects that generational curses had on my life. This book is a tribute to her and the deep spirituality she instilled in me.
