SKU: DD/01/AUCHA

This classic 31-jewel automatic MWC military watch, inspired by the 1940s/1950s design patterns, features a Swiss Sellita SW260 movement and a small subsidiary dial second hand. It retains the original appearance of the watches used by the British military during that era, while the improved water resistance of 100m (330 feet) and the shatter and scratch-resistant sapphire box crystal enhance its durability. Despite these enhancements, the crystal maintains the look of the original plexiglass without its drawbacks.

This watch boasts a heavy stainless steel satin finish case made from Military Grade 316L stainless steel, a subsidiary dial second hand, a screw-down crown, a hacking function, a black dial with luminous markings, and a historically accurate canvas strap reminiscent of the 1940s and 50s.

The final image showcases the original 12 watches produced by companies like Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Omega, Record, Timor, and Vertex. MWC, founded in 1974, was not among the original manufacturers but this watch captures the spirit of the originals.

Benefits of Sapphire Crystal:

Many people ask about the advantages of sapphire crystal over the original plexiglass. Synthetic sapphire is the superior material for watch crystals due to its strength and resistance to shattering and scratching, making it ideal for military and security personnel, police officers, and active outdoor enthusiasts, who comprise over 70% of our customers. The original plexiglass crystals, made of plastic/acrylic, were prone to scratches and cracks and limited the water resistance of the watch. In contrast, sapphire crystals are heat-treated to eliminate internal stresses, enhancing durability. Two layers of anti-reflective coating are then applied. Although sapphire crystal is more expensive, it is typically found only in higher specification watches.

My dogs love fetching this toy, then fighting over who’s going to bring it back to me
Both of my miniature dachshunds took to this tug of war toy immediately after opening it. I liked the fact it didn’t smell terrible like most of the scented dog toys I’ve purchased in the past. Instead this one actually smells good, it’s sweet and fruity smelling. It’s extremely durable and very heavy duty. The only problem is that it’s pretty thick and heavy, especially for my small dogs. They still like playing fetch with it, then fighting over which one gets to bring it back to me. It really would have been the perfect fetching toy for them, if only it had been a little bit smaller and lighter. If you have larger sized dogs who enjoy playing fetch and tug a war, I’d recommend giving it a try.

Good Quality Toy, but Not a Hit with My Dogs
I am a bit unsure about this toy. Unfortunately, my dogs do not seem to enjoy it very much. I thought the blueberry apple scent would make it more appealing, but they tend to lose interest almost as quickly as they start playing with it. I was hoping this would be something we could use for games like tug of war, but it just has not held their attention. That said, I may just have picky dogs, so this could be a different experience for others. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because the quality is actually quite nice. It feels well made and has a good overall design. However, I would be a little cautious giving it to aggressive chewers, as it seems a bit on the softer side. For dogs that are more gentle with their toys, it would likely be a better fit. The size is also great, and it has a lot of potential. It just has not gotten much use in our house, likely due to my dogs not being fans of the flavor. Overall, if you have picky pups like mine, this may not be the best choice. But for less selective or gentler dogs, it could still be a solid option

Stretchy, but Smaller & Softer Than Expected; Berry Fragrance Dominates; May be Best 4 Puppies
I was directed to read guidelines that were on the internet, prior to use. I was not expecting that and that was a big turn-off. Basically, it's all about liability, this product has the possibility of being torn apart and I am basically warned that if a piece is chewed off, that's bigger than a grain of rice, to toss, this. I was repeatedly reminded, again and again, and again that pet safety was my responsibility. Yeah, I know that. All these suggestions and warnings should have been made clearer in the listing. Is this built to flex? Yes. Does it bend? Yes. Does it stretch? Yes. Is this rugged? That's open to debate, based on the users, for a puppy, to some degree, but their teeth are very sharp. Is this soft on teeth? I don't disagree. Does this have a durable design? Depends on the user. Floats in water? I do not doubt it. Does this have an enticing scent? For a human, yes, for a pet? Depends if your pet loves berries. This is no pigs ear/bone, so, chewing is not a natural draw that I saw, which I think may be better, because this is soft and easier to tear to pieces than expected. To motivate the first time, I found it best to initiate the tug of war, but this is smaller than I envisioned too, causing me to have to bend considerably to participate. A tennis ball in a tube sock is longer. A two-dog tug of war works best with this. Nevertheless, it's a better toy than teaching pooch to have a battle using clothing, avoiding future attractions to my socks. There is some flexibility to this. Durability is an issue. I think this would have been more interesting if it had been made out of rawhide. It does have a comfortable grip, for a human, but the toy pays a price for that with what I would consider fragility. The berry fragrance dominates, it's nice for a human, but sorry, it ain't no bacon aroma. It's like a thick heavy rubber hose. Value? In hindsight, I just do not see the value I was expecting. I mean really, a grain of rice warning not to use. Durability at issue in my eyes. Country of origin? Vietnam. Is this perfect? Not in my opinion. Rating? A strong three (3) stars at best in my eyes. This is not for a tough chewer. I have to constantly monitor its condition. It does succeed as a tug toy, but it has more limitations that I was expecting. I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

Bully proof?!
Size: 5 in
We have the cutest little pit/lab mix who destroys stuffed toys in about two seconds flat. It’s always a HUNT to find toys he won’t instantly shred. This brand has some of the best! They were in FiveBelow for a while and it was the only brand that stood up to him initially. He finally got through the first only after MONTHS so we bought a few back ups and they’re still going strong months later! They’re also not super heavy so these end up being the toys we play fetch with most often! 100% will be buying more in this line in the future!
