This one-of-a-kind Oil Menorah truly has an exotic look.  Its base is carved rosewood and was created for Indian block printing on fabric.  Eight solid brass oil cups with pegs soldered on their bottom, fit snugly in holes drilled into the wood. An elaborately embossed copper strip along with an embossed copper Star of David, decorate the top front.  The shamash is composed of a repurposed copper doll's pitcher resting in a mini brass candlestick with a copper star base, and is removable for lighting the 8 cups.

Fill the cups with any kitchen vegetable oil and light the wicks that have been cut from a ball of cotton twine.  At the end of the holiday, simply wash the cups in warm soapy water. No messy wax to clean up!
