How Do You Are? Recordings present Too Slow to Disco 3, another incredible collection of songs that gleam with the high definition gloss of big-studio, bigger-budget production. TSTD 3 is another excursion into those late 1970s west coast delusions of grandeur, but in the company of songs that are also brimming over with soul, wit, and passion. Killer tunes, penned and played by virtuosic instrumentalists, backroom gals and guys who were often also Grammy-winners in their own right. All the elements that have made Too Slow to Disco volumes one (HDYARE 001CD/LP, 2014) and two (HDYARE 002CD/LP, 2015), and The Ladies of edition (HDYARE 003CD/LP, 2016), so beloved are back for another round of near-danceable lushness. This smooth wave continues to ripple round today's music world too: Think of Thundercat's single with Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald (2017), or even The XX's sample of the Alessi Brothers' "Do You Feel It" (featured on TSTD 1) on "Say Something Loving" (2016). DJ Supermarkt has somehow prized open another box of obscure gems, selected and sequenced to bring out the mood of the era. Lyrically the focus remains on slightly difficult love affairs backed by grooves gentle enough to mix cocktails to. There's an accidental pop hit crossover from none-more-fusion jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour along with a dab of Christian funk from Archie Cavanaugh and his troupe. There's even a bizarrely funky and commercial sounding Grateful Dead laying down the chart-bothering beat of "Shakedown Street". Elsewhere Steely Dan's go-to sax man, Cornelius Bumpus makes an appearance with some angular funk (with his quartet), while Larry Carlton turns up the guitar-drenched white soul on "Where Did You Come From?". And the compilation goes beyond LA this time. The first non-English sung TSTD track comes in the shape of legendary Canadian songwriter Dwight Druick's slice of Montreal disco-funk. Then there's the groovesome Stars 'N' Bars from Sweden, and two acts from the UK, Vapour Trails and Billy Mernit. Also features: Bob Welch, Pratt & McClain, David Gates, Weldon Irvine, The Markley Band, Vapour Trails, The Fifth Avenue Band, Mark Capanni, Archie James Cavanaugh, Rob Mehl, and Jeremy Spencer Band. CD version comes in O-Card (first pressing only).

Nice, but almost feels faux to me

I like it, but it says it’s real, and I believe them, but it feels like it is faux. I’ve owned a fake one before and it feels similar. Please know I am not saying it is not real. I guess the fake was well done!
It’s super long and I am still on the fence if I want it this long. I’ve taken a pic here, but right now it is wrapped in the package in case I need to return.
It is soft and pretty, but I’m not sure that Barbie pink is my best choice lol. Usually I would pair it with a mid century modern bedspread that is chenille, with a little pink so it works well but not too matchy matchy. I wish I had taken a pic with that bedspread because the bit of pink on the bedspread looks very nice against the rug. So let me apologize for having it with an ugly bedspread.

This is a wonderful sheepskin

Exceeded expectations in every way.

I purchased a pair of these a week apart, because the price seemed too good to be true. Instead, they have exceeded my expectations. I own a Buick with leather seats that look incredible, but are not comfortable on long trips, and my wife and I were preparing to leave on a 2200 mile round trip vacation. On the first day, we drove 700 miles, much of it through desert. We were tired when we reached our destination, but comfortable and cool for every mile of it. The sheepskins have made such a difference, that I have never removed them from the car. It is now July, with triple digit temperatures every day, surrounded by desert. The sheepskin keep us cool on every drive. I could have purchased sheepskin seat covers, but these provide the same comfort for a fraction of the cost. Yes, it takes a small amount of effort to adjust them when you first get into the car, but I don't even think about it any more. As far as the quality, there is no shedding, no smell, and no discoloration. We have put over 4,000 miles on the car since I put these in, and I have no complaints to register.

Soft and luxurious, high quality - but don't buy if you have cats

I give the rug a five-star rating because it deserves it. I was really surprised at how good the rug is right out of the package (it was packaged very well too). Because this rug is relatively less expensive than many other listings of natural sheepskin rugs on Amazon and elsewhere, I wasn't expecting much. But it turned out to be thick, soft, fluffy, plush, and luxurious all over. Many years ago I have purchased another natural sheepskin rug from Amazon described to be of the same size as this one (I got the 2'*6' one), but this one is definitely much bigger in its actual size. It's hands-down a high-quality, high-value purchase if you want a nice natural sheepskin rug. I also love how beautiful the natural creamy white color is.
Now, the story takes a turn. It does have a "natural and organic" smell as mentioned in many other reviews. The smell itself is not repulsive. I don't know how long it will take for it to air out (my last rug never really got rid of the smell, but it was not a big issue since I put it on the floor. I lost the rug in cross country moving.) But now I have a cat! My cat just couldn't resist tackling the rug the moment it was laid on the floor. She probably imagined herself to be a lion or a tiger who just caught some big prey. She couldn't stop kicking and biting the rug, trying to tear it apart. She came back to it a few times after breaks already. And this is day one. I am guessing this smell does stimulate some instinctive call from her genes. In a few short moments, she managed to tear off quite some fur from the edge of the rug... The rug still looks fine since I just received it today. I am not sure how long it will last with my cat though. Before ordering, I thought about this possibility and googled whether cats and sheepskin rugs can co-exist. I got many cute picture results showing angelic cats resting contently in the long and soft sheepskin fur, looking totally adorable and peaceful. Many articles say that natural rugs calm our fluffy friends down. Well, I told myself "perfect!" Win-win for me and my cat. Now, here we are, the beginning of my cat's conquest of an imaginary lamb (which was a real lamb.) I cannot even return it since it has already been damaged by my cat... In the worst case, this rug would become a really expensive cat entertainment piece that would eventually be destroyed....:((( I even started feeling guilty for buying animal-based products - but then comforted myself by remembering reading somewhere that cow and lamb leather goods come from animals that would be slaughtered for meat consumption anyways. My cat is already eating canned food containing Australian lamb, etc, etc. Really need to stop the thoughts.
So this is my review. Beautiful rug of excellent quality and unbeatable value, unless you have a cat(s).
