ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Very dangerous metal shavings!!!
Negative stars if I could.
This is a very dangerous product. It worked well for a while. But then it quit effectively removing the lid instead I got little tiny shavings of metal around the edge. These shavings of metal go into the food and very dangerous.
So this was a waste of money and incredibly dangerous. I am throwing it in the trash today.
